Growing communities through sustainable agriculture, green innovation, and food security.
The Cotech Horticulture Program promotes sustainable agricultural practices that empower communities β especially women and youth β to achieve economic independence while protecting the environment. We combine traditional farming wisdom with modern eco-technologies to create a future where agriculture is productive, sustainable, and climate-resilient.
In Kajiado County, Cotech has been gifted 20 acres of land for a horticultural and organic farm. This project addresses major challenges in the area: water scarcity, vulnerable livelihoods, and economic instability. The farm will not only grow high-value crops but also provide water, employment, and skills training to local women, youth, and pastoralist communities, fostering sustainable development and community resilience.
This project will transform lives in Kajiado by addressing multiple vulnerabilities:
βThrough horticulture, we nurture the soil, the community, and the future of Kajiado.β
Cotech seeks donors, investors, corporate partners, and NGOs to support water infrastructure, equipment, technical expertise, and community engagement programs. Together, we can make this 20-acre farm a sustainable model for food security, women empowerment, and climate resilience.
Whether as a farmer, volunteer, donor, or partner, your involvement will help expand sustainable food production, empower local families, and restore ecological balance in Kajiado. Letβs cultivate hope, health, and harmony together.
